Refunds & cancellation
What you are buying
MyChum sells talk time, nothing else. There is no subscription and no recurring charge. Your first 3 minutes are free and need no payment details. After that, ₹49 buys 8 minutes, and further time is ₹4 a minute paid from a wallet you top up yourself.
Cancelling
There is nothing to cancel. Because we do not run subscriptions or auto-renewals, no money is ever taken from you again unless you deliberately buy more time. You can stop using MyChum at any moment and nothing further will be charged.
When we refund you
- Unused talk time. If you bought time and have not used it, write to us within 7 days of the payment and we will refund the unused balance in full.
- Something broke. If the service failed during a conversation — it would not connect, the voice cut out, replies never arrived — tell us and we will refund the affected minutes, whether or not the clock ran.
- Charged twice. A duplicate charge is refunded in full, always. You do not need to justify it.
- Payment taken but no time added. Refunded in full, or we add the time — your choice.
When we cannot
Talk time you have already used is not refundable, because the conversation happened and the cost of providing it was already incurred. This is why the first 3 minutes are free: try it properly before you pay anything.
How to ask
Write to hello@marqueiver.com, or use our contact form. Tell us the mobile number or email on the account and roughly when you paid — that is enough for us to find it.
We reply to every request, normally within one working day.
How long it takes
Approved refunds are sent back to the original payment method — the same card, UPI ID or wallet you paid from. We raise the refund with our payment provider within 2 working days of approving it. Your bank then takes a further 5 to 7 working daysto show the money in your account. That last part is the bank’s timeline and outside our control.
Failed payments
If a payment fails, no talk time is added and no money should leave your account. Occasionally a bank places a temporary hold on a failed transaction; those are released automatically, usually within 5 to 7 working days. If a failed payment has not returned after that, contact us and we will chase it with the provider.
